"Chumps or Champions?" is the twenty-first episode of Season 1 of Bring It!. It first aired on September 24th, 2014.
Synopsis[]
The Dancing Dolls must face off against their two biggest rivals, the Prancing Tigerettes and the Divas of Olive Branch; a talented new squad emerges; Miss D takes the dance floor to help secure the championship for her team.
Summary[]
This week's competition is in Clarksdale, Mississippi at the 'Bring The Heat!' competition. There is a stand battle and a coaches solo.
ONE DAY TO THE COMPETITION
Outside the Dollhouse, Tina reveals that Kayla has started booking college tours. Selena starts telling Tina that she should have made Kayla do that sooner as she made Sunjai book college tours a while ago. This causes an argument between the two. Tina gets into Selena's face as she feels angered by Selena's judgement of her parenting of Kayla. It reminds her of how often she has been judged for this over the years. Tina ends up walking away in anger and Mimi runs after her, trying to calm her down. Mimi assures Tina that Selena did not mean to hurt Tina and Tina goes to apologise to Selena. The mothers have a group hug to settle the matter.
Inside the Dollhouse, Miss D is getting frustrated at the Dolls as they are not picking up the choreography well.
THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION
At the competition, the Dolls practise in the dressing room for the stand battle and Miss D practices separately for her coaches solo.
The coaches solo is first and Dianna worries about dancing due to some old injuries. Dianna does well in her solo and now it is time for the stand battle.
Selena brings posters of each of the girls for their mothers, making amends for her big balloon display from a few weeks ago. The mothers are very appreciative of Selena's kind gesture.
The first semi-final for the stand battle begins with the Divas of Olive Branch and Dazzlin Starz battling. The Dazzlin Starz win this round. The semi-final of the stand battle is between the Dancing Dolls and Prancing Tigerettes. The Dancing Dolls unanimously win this round. The final round begins with the Dancing Dolls facing off against the Dazzlin Starz.
The awards ceremony begins and Miss D wins the coaches solo and the Dancing Dolls win the stand battle.
